Kenjirou Shirabu

S, a second-year student at Shiratorizawa Academy High School, wears jersey number 10. His goal is to be "the least conspicuous setter," which doesn't mean he lacks assertiveness. According to Coach Washijou, his sets make a bold statement, effectively highlighting their ace. This leads him to sometimes show a dismissive attitude even towards senior spikers, and towards the end of the Spring High prelim finals, he frankly asked an exhausted Ushijima, "You mean I should keep setting as long as Mr. Ushijima is still useful, right?" However, he always maintains a condescending attitude towards Seemi, a senior in the same position.

He is the only regular player not on a sports scholarship. In middle school, he was known for his aggressively assertive setting and initially admired setters like Oikawa, who had flair and could perform quick attack combinations. However, after witnessing Ushijima's overwhelming power and height, overpowering everything with sheer strength alone, his aspirations changed. He wished to play alongside Ushijima, leading him to rigorously study to pass the entrance exam and enroll at Shiratorizawa Academy, a leading educational institution in the prefecture. After graduating high school, he is now studying at a university medical school.
