Aoi Akane

A first-year student of Class A at Seagull Academy High School. Nene's best friend. Fond of rumors, she often tells Nene about various school mysteries.

A demure and attractive girl, she is the reigning queen of popularity at Seagull Academy, receiving confessions daily. She takes care of the classroom flowers. Not just beautiful, she is also smart, once scoring higher on the final exams than the student council president, Kou. She has been confessed to 3,624 times by her childhood friend Akane (mentioned later), but has never accepted because it would change her name to Akane Aoi upon marriage. In the anime, her mother (voiced by Aya Kawakami) appears.

Her hairstyle is twin tails, with the lower parts formed in circles. The color is blue-purple.

Her family has traditionally been chosen as the village's sacrifices, making her the sixth wonder, a shaman cast down near the other world. After returning to the real world, she can now see apparitions.
