It is even self-cleaning, so the Yoshida family uses it as a stool or a table, calling it "the Dad Box."

Yuko had no clear memories of her father and believed what her mother told her about his "job" in a faraway place, like "fishing for squid on a submarine" or "buying air purifiers on a space battleship."

In chapter 24 of the original manga, Joshua’s true situation is finally revealed.

He was not simply away working—he was sealed for mysterious reasons.

Throughout the story, there is a narrator voice cheering for Yuko and hoping she becomes a great demon.
