First Appearance and Personality

Akane's first appearance is revealed in episode 2 of YuruYuri. Next, she is shown officially in volume 6 of the manga.

She never shows up in episode 1 of either manga or anime, but Kyōko enters her room.

This room scene was different in early magazine releases.

Interactions with Chinatsu

When Chinatsu Yoshikawa visits the Akaza house, Akane gets jealous.

She tries to take candy from Akari and even sneaks into bed with her.

Akane is always watching Chinatsu, but tries to act normal.

Akane first appears in anime season 2, episode 3.
