Shougo Taguchi is a human male from Japan who was summoned as an otherworlder by Razen in the light novel series "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime."
He is a violently self-centered psychopathic killer whose actions make him one of the most notorious hostile otherworlders in the story.
Shougo Taguchi is intensely egotistical and fundamentally self-centered.
He places his own desires above any moral or social norm and shows no genuine empathy for others.
He is openly violent and quick to resort to force, enjoying the act of killing.
This delight in murder goes beyond practicality, marking him as a pleasure killer who acts for his own gratification.

Razen
Razen is the summoner who brought Shougo Taguchi into the new world.
Initially, Razen sees Shougo as a usable pawn and weapon.
When Shougo is defeated and cornered by Geld, Razen intervenes to rescue him.
This rescue is purely utilitarian, not born from care or loyalty.
After the failed invasion and Shougo’s poor performance, Razen judges him as no longer useful.
With cold detachment, Razen destroys Shougo’s mind, effectively killing him by shattering his spirit and sanity.
Kyouya Tachibana
Kyouya Tachibana is another Japanese otherworlder who invades the Demon Kingdom Federation as part of the same advance team.
Kyouya serves as a counterpart to Shougo, equally dangerous but with a different personal style.
Kyouya engages in battle with Hakurou, one of Rimuru Tempest’s key subordinates.
Hakurou defeats Kyouya, leading to Kyouya’s death.
Although Shougo and Kyouya are technically allies, Shougo’s personality prevents any real bond from forming.
Their association is based on circumstance rather than trust or camaraderie.
Kirara Mizutani
Kirara Mizutani is the third member of the Japanese advance force.
She participates in the invasion of the Demon Kingdom Federation alongside Shougo and Kyouya.
Shougo eventually murders Kirara himself in order to obtain a new skill.
This act highlights his extreme self-centeredness and willingness to sacrifice even close allies for power.
Kirara’s death marks a turning point in Shougo’s downfall.
Despite gaining strength from killing her, he still fails in battle and is ultimately discarded by Razen.
Shougo Taguchi’s main period of activity centers around the invasion of the Demon Kingdom Federation.
He directly contributes to the massacre of its inhabitants, including the death of Shion.
Following these atrocities, the defenders of the Demon Kingdom Federation retaliate.
Kyouya is killed by Hakurou, while Shougo faces Geld in combat.
The fight against Geld goes disastrously for Shougo.
Even after killing Kirara and unlocking a new skill, he cannot stand against Geld’s overwhelming might and is driven into a corner.
Razen intervenes and extracts Shougo from certain death.
However, Razen later determines that Shougo has outlived his usefulness.
In a final act of cold pragmatism, Razen destroys Shougo Taguchi’s mind.
Shougo dies with his spirit shattered, ending his brief, violent presence in the new world.
