Miwa Kurushima

At her first appearance, she is 26 years old (from Volume 3, Chapter 23). She works in the food and beverage department of Hotel Cardinal in Shiodome, Tokyo. She is the granddaughter of Taizo Kurushima and a subordinate of Kosuke Kamishima in both the manga and anime (no one in the company, other than the HR department, knows her background). Having lost her parents at a very young age, she was raised by her grandfather, Taizo. Ever since meeting Ryuu Sasakura, she has always consulted him about issues related to alcohol, and he has helped her solve many difficult problems. Possibly because her grandfather is overprotective, she is somewhat dissatisfied with not being able to live a normal office lady life.

Unbeknownst to her, it seems she has feelings for Ryuu.

Ryuu knows about the mole on her left buttock.

Although she is an office lady, she always wears white socks and sneakers.

Anime

The basic setting is the same as the original work. Noteworthy additions include her experience living in France and her role as a storyteller. While in France, she drank Ryuu's cocktails at a hotel bar, and this memory is what triggers the beginning of the anime itself. Thanks to her introduction, there are customers who have solved their own problems.

In the anime, compared to the original work, her mental interaction with Ryuu seems to be less profound.
