Tomura Shigaraki

Leader of the Villain Alliance. After the battle with the Meta Liberation Army, he became the supreme leader of the "Paranormal Liberation Front." A 20-year-old man with a slender build, adorned with numerous hands (14 in total on his face, back of the head, neck, both sides, and arms). Grandson of Nana Shimura.

He enjoys crime with the thrill of a game and scratches his neck when irritated. The hand on his face, which he refers to as "Dad," is treated specially, even carried around when not worn.

As a child, he admired heroes. His father, Kotaro Shimura, son of Nana Shimura, was adopted out, and a rule was established in the household that forbade discussing heroes, leading to severe reprimands whenever he brought it up. One day, his sister Hana Shimura took a photo of Nana Shimura from their father's room without permission and showed it to him, promising to become heroes together in secret. However, their father discovered this and punished them. At that moment, he felt hatred for everyone, and his "Decay" Quirk manifested, killing his family members who came to check on him unintentionally. Witnessing this, his father hit him on the head with a stick, marking the first time he felt a clear intent to kill, leading him to kill his father, Kotaro. Afterwards, he wandered the streets unaided until All For One found him.

Heroes describe him as "a child who grew up without changing," and All Might refers to him as "child-adult."

The protagonist of the author's debut one-shot "Tenko" is the prototype for his character.

Shigaraki is seen as a personification of nihilism, reflecting events like the Great East Japan Earthquake and the rise of ISIL through the internet.

"Quirk": Decay

He can crumble anything he touches with his hands into dust. If it's a human, he can turn them to dust within a minute. Initially, his Quirk required all five fingers to touch the target to activate, but during the battle with the Meta Liberation Army, it evolved to propagate decay to things he wasn't directly touching and activate without all five fingers.
