Rit

Rit is known for having a cute appearance, which often surprises people who learn she is a famous hero. She may look gentle, but she is actually a skilled fighter.

Rit is fiercely protective of her friends and those she cares about. She used to be stubborn and sometimes argued with Red, but now she is very open about her feelings and is always cheerful around him. She is caring, loyal, and not afraid to show affection.

Rit was born as the second princess of the Rogavia Principality. From a young age, she led knights and adventurers in her country and was recognized as one of the great heroes of Rogavia. When her actions made her so popular that some people wanted her to be the next ruler instead of her brother, Rit became worried about a fight over the throne. To protect her family and her country, she left home and started a new life as an adventurer in the frontier town of Zoltan.

Rit has the "Spirit Scout" blessing, which lets her sense things happening in nature like forests and mountains. This power helps her know how to act in the wild and always take the best action. Her blessing also gives her a strong urge to protect her allies and defend nature. Rit is very skilled at fighting, especially with two curved swords called shotels. She can use special magic that works with spirits, but the details of her magic skills are not fully explained.

Rit and Red (who was once known as Gideon) have a deep bond. They fought together against the Demon Lord's army as part of the hero’s party. In the past, Rit didn't want to depend on Red or the hero's group, but after fighting together to save Rogavia, she started to truly rely on him. Now, Rit is very open and loving towards Red, and they even live together while running a shop. Their relationship continues to deepen, and they eventually confess their love for each other.

• Rit was well educated as a princess, including in areas like store management and even how to run a country. She is great at business planning, marketing, and keeping things organized—sometimes even more than Red!
• Her nickname, "Rit," came from her full name, and Red chose his own new name because of her.
• In the short story "Young Rit's Adventure," a nine-year-old Rit, already adventurous, sneaks out of the castle and joins a pretend "children’s adventurer guild," where she uses her new Spirit Scout power for the first time to catch thieves.

Becoming a Hero and Leaving Home

When the Demon Lord’s army attacked Rogavia, Rit fought bravely as part of the hero’s party. In a tough battle against Shisandan, Rit nearly lost hope, but with Red’s support she stood up again and helped win the fight. Afterwards, her fame grew, but so did the risk that she would be forced into a struggle for the throne. To avoid this, she left her home, changed her name to Rit, and started a new life as a B-rank adventurer.

New Life in Zoltan

Wandering far, Rit eventually arrives in the frontier town of Zoltan. There, she finds out that the new shop owner, Red, is actually Gideon, her old friend from the hero’s party. Rit decides to quit being an adventurer and helps Red run a small herb shop. Thanks to her royal education, Rit is very skilled at managing the shop.

Living with Red

Rit is very open about her deep feelings for Red, always showing her love and wanting to spend more time together. At first, Red is a bit unsure, but as they run the shop and live together, he grows closer to her. Eventually, they share a romantic night and even get engaged.

Young Rit’s Adventure

In a special short story, Rit is shown at age nine, already breaking rules and sneaking out of the castle. In the city, she joins a pretend adventurer’s group run by retired adventurers. Even as a child, she uses her Spirit Scout power for good, helping catch thieves on her first "mission."
