Red

Red was once a knight and adventurer.

He dresses simply as a shopkeeper in Zoltan and uses a basic copper sword for fighting.

He does not wear flashy or heroic clothes, preferring to blend in as a regular person.

Red is calm and peaceful.

He avoids fights when possible and wants a quiet life.

Still, he is caring and cannot ignore people in trouble.

He has a strong sense of justice and will act bravely if someone does something wrong.

Red is very devoted to his younger sister Ruti.

He wants to free her from the fate of being a hero.

Early Life and Talents

Red was gifted with the "Guide" blessing.

This gave him the "Starting Level +30" skill, making him strong from a young age.

He started fighting monsters at six and joined the Avallonia Kingdom Knights at eight.

By eighteen, he became the deputy commander, earning the noble "Ragnason" name.

Joining the Hero’s Party

Red joined the party led by his sister Ruti.

Even though he was strong, his skills were basic compared to the others.

After defeating a Demon Lord general, Ares Srowa told him he was not a "true companion" and should leave the party.

Moving to Zoltan

After leaving the party, Red moved to the frontier town of Zoltan.

He lived under the name Red and became a D-rank adventurer.

He dreamed of a slow, peaceful life and opened an herbal shop.

Blessing of the Guide

Red’s blessing is called "Guide."

It is meant to help lead and protect the Hero.

His unique skill is "Starting Level +30," which boosts new skills by 30 levels.

He can use many common skills, making him flexible but not a master in one thing.

Skills

Red has no special combat powers but has mastered many ordinary skills:

• Quickness (increases speed; his mastery allows him to run as fast as lightning)
• Endurance (reduces tiredness; mastery gives him almost total fatigue resistance)
• Acrobatics (lets him move lightly; mastery helps him reduce falls or move along walls)
• First Aid (does emergency care; his mastery is like an expert doctor, good in urgent cases but not as a full healer)
• Basic Mixing (lets him make simple medicines; this helps in running his shop)
• Cooking (basic skills, used for party meals)
• Disguise (can blend in and avoid detection without magic)

His skills give him flexibility in many situations.

Weapons

Red mainly uses a copper sword, the weakest type.

He once used the famous sword Thunder Waker as a knight.

His fighting skill is so high that even with a weak sword, he can defeat strong monsters in one hit.

Ruti Ragnason

Red is the older brother of the Hero, Ruti.

He wants to protect her from her cruel destiny as the Hero.

Ruti loves her brother and left the party to be with him in Zoltan.

Rit

Rit is a princess and strong adventurer who fell in love with Red.

After meeting again in Zoltan, she joins him in running the shop.

They live together and work as partners, and Red thinks about marrying her.

Ares Srowa

Ares is the one who forced Red to leave the Hero’s party.

Ares was jealous and wanted more attention, which led to Red’s banishment.

This choice later caused the party to fall apart.

Yarandrala

Red met Yarandrala during his knight days and learned a lot from her as a mentor.

She appears again in the story with deep respect for Red.

Life Before Banishment

Red started out with amazing talents thanks to his blessing.

He joined the knights at age eight and became a respected leader.

He took many dangerous missions to gain new skills and to protect his sister Ruti, who was marked as a Hero from a young age.

He cared for villagers and took jobs that others found too risky or unprofitable.

He became famous for his heroic work, but his main wish was to save his sister from her lonely, forced destiny.

In the Hero’s Party

Red joined Ruti and other strong heroes on their journey to defeat the Demon Lord.

He managed food, supplies, and diplomacy for the party.

Though not as strong in combat as others, he was their leader in planning and caring for everyone.

After defeating one of the Demon Lord’s generals, Ares Srowa became jealous and declared Red unworthy.

Red agreed to leave, knowing he was much weaker in battle.

Beginning Life in Zoltan

Red moved to the peaceful frontier town of Zoltan.

He tried to live quietly as a simple adventurer and herbalist.

Thanks to his skills, he could gather rare herbs and help people with their medical problems.

He saved a boy named Tanta from an eye disease, earning respect from locals.

Even so, running a shop was hard for him at first, but Rit joined him and helped grow the business.

Reunion With Ruti and Facing the Past

Ruti missed her brother and left the party to find him in Zoltan, bringing Tisse Garland with her.

Even though she wanted Red to return, he refused, choosing life in Zoltan over dangerous adventures.

Ruti decided to stay, too, longing for peace and her brother's company.

Later, Ares Srowa, now full of hate and influenced by demons, came to Zoltan to seek revenge.

Red had to face his past and the people who hurt him, standing up for his new life and peace.

Red always calls himself "just an ordinary herbalist," even if people around him think he is anything but ordinary.

He would rather help friends or his town than risk his life for strangers far away.

Despite being "banished" for being too weak, he is truly one of the strongest humans, except for his sister, Ruti.

Originally, Red was supposed to die early if history had followed the god’s plan, but he changed fate by surviving and creating a new future.

Red learned how to lower the power of blessings with special potions, trying to free Ruti from her forced heroism.

He worked hard to master many skills, sometimes weakening his own magic for the good of others.

He is an expert at helping others and believes that kindness is more important than power.
