Izutsumi

A tall woman whose body has mostly transformed into that of a beastman due to black magic that mixed her soul with that of a great cat called a demon. She is 17 years old. "Asebi" is a nickname given to her as a subordinate of Shuro's father, and "Izutsumi" is her real name. She is from the Eastern Archipelago. Chilchuck guesses she was poorly raised based on her manners at meals and her picky eating habits.

Originally one of the ninjas who traveled to the island to accompany Shuro, she deserted the group during their return to the surface using a return spell in episode 38, and reappeared in episode 40, taking Marcille hostage and demanding that Marcille lift two types of spells cast on her. The collar spell cast by Maidzuru was lifted when the summoned shikigami was defeated by Laios and his group, but the remaining spell is a very special kind of black magic, a complicated state where two souls are mixed, and currently, even Marcille cannot intervene. However, the possibility of "soul separation" being a similar final rescue method for the chimera-transformed Farin leads her to join Laios's group in defeating the "Mad Sorcerer."

As a cat-type beastman and a ninja, she has high combat abilities within the group, especially excelling in close combat using her agility and speed. She uses throwing knives as weapons but is strong enough to fight monsters with her bare hands.

She has a fickle, calculating, and self-centered personality. She had already transformed into a beastman when she became aware, and thus not treated as a human, she was passed around as a spectacle by various owners until she was bought by Shuro's father and trained by Maidzuru. By that time, she had already developed a distrust of humans, so she does not feel gratitude or camaraderie. She is indifferent towards Laios and his group, who treat her as a collaborator and share their meals with her, but she is gradually letting down her guard. When Marcille cried after hearing about Farin's past from Laios, Izutsumi showed a comforting attitude despite her confusion.

As mentioned, she is very picky about food, avoiding or discarding things she doesn't want to eat. She willingly eats meat and fish but dislikes vegetables and mushrooms. Senshi often scolds her, but she shows no signs of changing. Initially, she completely rejected eating monsters, but she accepts delicious ones like Barometz. As a cat-type beastman, she vomits when she eats something indigestible.

Her body is close to human, but she has long body hair, so she doesn't hesitate to undress in front of people. However, Laios, who loves magical beasts, tries to check "the number of nipples" and "the base of the tail," but is stopped by Chilchuck and Senshi.

When attacked by a succubus, she was transformed into her "mother," whom she does not remember. Normally, she would be immobilized by the succubus's charm, but she managed to fight and defeat her "mother," leading her to briefly worry that "her heart had also become non-human." However, she also harbored doubts about the existence of a succubus resembling a black panther that appeared at the same time, and realizing that the one charmed by the panther-like figure was "the beast within her," she concluded that there are two hearts within her body, her own and that of the fused beast, leading her to think, "I was not alone."
