Kōyō Ozaki

A woman who wears a kimono and has the appearance and speech of a courtesan, she is an executive of the Port Mafia. She is 26 years old.

She is like an older sister to Kyouka during her time in the Port Mafia and dotes on her. She also tried to escape from the underworld like Kyouka and understands her feelings. Even after Kyouka left the Mafia, her feelings for her have not changed, as seen when she stopped subordinates from sniping Kyouka and attacked the transport vehicle.

She attacks Atsushi and Kyouka, but her squad is decimated by the Guild members who intervene. Afterward, she is confined within the Detective Agency in exchange for Dazai searching for the missing Kyouka. Although she resents the former boss due to her past, she seems to like the current Mafia under Ogai.

After Kyouka joined the Detective Agency, she attacked a government transport vehicle to steal documents revealing the truth about Kyouka's parents' deaths and delivered them to Atsushi and others as a congratulatory gift.

During the all-out war between the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia orchestrated by Dostoevsky, she tries to eliminate Tanizaki, who attempted to assassinate Ogai to save Fukuzawa, but Kyouka rescues Tanizaki.

Like Kyouka Izumi, the real-life person is male, but in this work, she appears as a female.

Golden Demon

An ability that controls a female armored warrior similar to Kyouka's, but she can operate it with her own will.

The ability name comes from the unfinished novel by the character's namesake, Kōyō Ozaki.
