A monk soldier with exceptional spiritual power was originally tracking Shakugan, but he later became one of the "Ten Saints Who Open the Heavens," a new type of spiritually modified human. Through his battles with Jinka Yamato and his companions, he began to question the methods of the Dankai Order Headquarters, which relentlessly pursued only power, and ultimately decided to leave. He came to believe that as long as there were monks traveling and fighting throughout the land, that would be enough.

In the second part, he reappears, having survived and rebuilt the Dankai Order Headquarters, now leading the organization as the High Priest. He is one of the veteran members of the Dankai Order, possessing strength second only to Yazen and the Four Beast Generals. His deep knowledge and sharp insight are highly respected by both Yazen and Dōren.
