Akina Hiizumi

Director of the "Hiizumi Life Counseling Office." A normal human. Born on March 3rd. 18 years old. Height 173 centimeters. Favorite food is curry. Holds a third-level certification in abacus. Hobbies include cleaning and cooking. Skilled in sewing. Within the office, he is the one who often deals with hardships and usually plays the role of stopping the reckless actions of those around him (mainly Hime). He has a relatively calm personality, but when he gets truly angry, he becomes so frightening that those around him have to intervene. The Hiizumi family has been a lineage that inherits the "duty," and he is also capable of performing "Tuning" (details to be described later). For some reason, his hair grows longer during this process, and according to rough sketches in the manga, this state is referred to as "Duty Mode." Later, he became able to perform tuning of malice (a specific type of youkai power), which is the specialty of the difficult-to-control Maki Haru. If he performs tuning excessively, the discrepancy between him and this world becomes significant, resulting in his hair growing even longer, his arms turning black, and intense pain coursing through his body. To restore the discrepancy, he must touch a normal human. Currently, he has sealed his tuning abilities under orders from Yuhi for the decisive battle with Enjin. Aside from being able to use tuning, his physical abilities are inferior compared to others, so he often takes on a support role during battles, which he finds frustrating. However, he is advised by Hime and Kyosuke that he is a support for the youkai. He is also referred to as a "daytime lantern" due to his tendency to silently take over Ao and Kotoha's work, not showing his fatigue from tuning to those around him, and his optimistic personality.
