Stanley Vonbraun is known as the "White Bishop" in the Einberg group. He is a male scientist who never pilots a Knightmare Frame (KMF) himself. Stanley focuses only on his research, often acting like a child and caring little for others. He is a brilliant but sly engineer, willing to betray even allies for his goals. Working closely with Noland von Lüneberg, he plays a big role as a developer and contributes powerful technology, despite his complete lack of emotional ties to anyone around him. In the end, Stanley is betrayed by Noland, but before his death, he manages to send key information to the Black Knights, helping to stop Noland’s dangerous plan.
Stanley Vonbraun is a well-built man with just a bit of blond hair on the top of his head.
Stanley only cares about his own experiments.
He acts childish, ignoring everyone else completely, and has no feelings for his fellow Einberg members.
He is cunning and willing to do whatever it takes, even betraying enemies and allies, to achieve his own research goals.
Stanley has no trust in anything he considers “occult,” like Geass, and only values proven science.
Stanley has a very high skill in engineering.
He can create and modify powerful machines for battle.
He helped develop Faulbaut, Noland’s personal machine, making it possible to control with the pilot’s neural signals.
He also created the Loki, a strategic weapon that almost became a major threat.
Stanley has almost no interest in people around him.
Even toward Noland von Lüneberg and Christoph Scissorman, who are also engineers working for Noland, Stanley shows no feelings.
When Christoph became a hindrance, Stanley trapped and caused his death through clever schemes.
Stanley is loyal to his research first, not to other people.
Stanley’s character is similar to Lloyd Asplund from the main Code Geass series.
Like Lloyd, Stanley shows curiosity before launching new technology.
But unlike Lloyd, Stanley completely ignores things he thinks are not scientific.
His last act—sending important information to the Black Knights—was a way to take revenge on Noland for stealing his inventions.
Currently, the final act is underway!
Scientist for Noland
Stanley Vonbraun works as the White Bishop in the Einberg group.
He does not pilot Knightmare Frames, but instead creates and develops technology for Noland von Lüneberg.
Stanley helps tweak Noland’s machine, Faulbaut, to allow direct neural control.
Rivalry and Betrayal
Stanley doesn’t care about his fellow team members, even Christoph Scissorman, another scientist.
He sets up Christoph and secretly leaks his location to the Shichikouseidan so Christoph is killed, removing him as a rival.
Stanley does not trust Geass, calling it “occult,” and does not believe in its power.
Loki’s Mass Production
Behind everyone’s backs, Stanley develops the weapon Loki and builds many units.
He connects them all to Faulbaut so he alone can control them.
He then tries to add a program so they can identify friends and foes and be used as autonomous defense weapons for Neo Britannia.
Betrayed by Noland
Right as the Loki project nears its final step, Noland von Lüneberg betrays Stanley.
Noland takes over Loki’s controls for his own plan of wiping out all humans, not just enemies.
Stanley, realizing he has been discarded, is killed by Loki during the chaos.
Last Act of Defiance
Stanley manages to briefly hack the system and pause Loki’s actions.
In that final moment, he sends all his remaining data about Loki and Faulbaut to the Black Knights.
His information plays a major part in helping stop Noland’s evil plan.
None.
