Most of the time, he appears as a troublemaker and later, someone who got possessed by powerful demons. Even after joining True Cross Academy, he was scared of running into Rin Okumura because of their past. Reiji ends up being watched by the Order after being used by strong demons, and his personality hints at deeper issues caused by his difficult childhood.

Life at True Cross Academy
Reiji later entered True Cross Academy, the same school as Rin Okumura.
He was scared to see Rin around the school, so he did his best to avoid him.

Under Watch and Possession
Since Reiji was once possessed by a demon, the Knights made sure to keep an eye on him.
When demons started causing trouble all over the world, Satan rebuilt his body and caused more chaos.
Because Reiji was emotionally weak from his harsh childhood, he quickly became a target.
He was possessed again by the demon king Astaroth.
While possessed, Reiji killed his housemaid and ran away.
He later attacked the convent with a big truck, but Shirou Fujimoto exorcised the demon once more.
