Jazz Andro M. is a 16-year-old boy.

He is 176cm tall and weighs 65kg.

He wears metal rings on all his fingers, which make a sound if he moves them for no reason.

He usually appears cool and mature.

Jazz is calm, clever, and good at math and planning.

He often acts like an older brother in his class, ready to help everyone and take care of problems.

He can’t say no when people rely on him or ask him for help.

He’s actually one of the most normal members in his wild class and often acts as the straight man in funny situations.

He wants to be kind to younger people because his own big brother bullied him a lot.

The Andro Family

Jazz is the second son of the Andro family, a group of famous thieves who believe in “survival of the fittest.”

In his family, “It’s the fault of the one who gets stolen from, not the thief.”

His older brother Rock is even better at stealing, and often bullies Jazz by stealing from him or making life hard for him.

The School and Blacklist

Jazz is a student at Babyls, the demon school.

Because of his habit of stealing, he got put in the “Abnormal Class” after stealing at school.

He has been blacklisted by the school shop for stealing too often.

Family Magic: Theft Sight (Pit)

Jazz’s special magic is called Theft Sight (Pit).

It lets him see what someone is hiding and shows him the best way to steal it.

He can use this power for things like shooting, too.

Thief Skills

Even without magic, Jazz is a super-skilled thief.

He can open his fingers wide and steal things quickly without anyone noticing.

The rings on his fingers make noise if he’s not careful, so he wears them to challenge himself.

His style of moving his hands looks like a snake, which is why he’s called the “Serpent Thief.”

Family

He has parents (not much is said about them) and an older brother named Rock, who is strong, mean, and always challenges Jazz.

Classmates

Jazz is close to Lied Shax, who calls him “Jazzy,” and the two often do things together.

He is also friendly with Goemon Garp, Kamui Caim, Schneider Allocer, and others, usually helping or working with them in school events.

Iruma Suzuki and Clara Valac are classmates who call him “Jazz-kun.”

The Trouble with Stealing

Jazz was put in the Abnormal Class because he couldn’t stop stealing from students, teachers, and the school shop.

Acting as an Older Brother

Jazz likes being relied on.

He calls his classmates his little brothers and sisters and acts like a big brother to them, especially when they are small or need protection.

School Festival and Working Together

During a school event to hunt monsters, he worked with Lied Shax, Goemon Garp, and Kamui Caim to take down a big magic beast.

He uses clever planning and teamwork.

The Harvest Festival

At first, Jazz teams up with Schneider Allocer to trick others and win points.

Because of a plan by Coco Orobas, Jazz gets “retired” from the contest.

Even then, he watches from outside and keeps an eye on Orobas, helping his team from behind the scenes.

The Heartbreaker Event

For the special “Heartbreaker” event, Jazz is teamed with two small, cute demon siblings.

Even though he thought he would get strong fighters, he decides to act as their big brother and protect them.

He works with Team Allocer to make a special plan.

Because Allocer keeps his promise and hides something for Jazz, their team lasts till the end.

Familiar: Split Wolf "Sup"

Jazz’s familiar is called Sup, a Split Wolf.

It should be a big, scary wolf with snake tails, but Jazz’s Sup looks like a small, cute puppy with two regular tails.

He is embarrassed about this and tries not to show his familiar in public.

Later, Jazz notices that Sup has a habit of stealing too, just like him, and feels closer to his familiar.

Teachers at school think Jazz is using a scary beast to take money, but that’s just a rumor.

• He was based on the demon Andromalius, who is known in legends for finding hidden treasure.
• In some stories, Andromalius punishes thieves, which is the opposite of what Jazz does.
• Jazz is very good at math, even if he isn’t good at school work.
• When drunk at a party, Jazz called all his classmates his brothers and sisters and made Iruma Suzuki the “second son.”
• As his rank goes up, his familiar doesn’t really change, which makes him worry he might be “cute” inside.
