Edward Hart

Edward has fig purple, or dark faded purple, hair that fades into a light grey at the tips. He has crimson eyes and pale skin.

There is a pair of visible bite marks on the left side of his neck, and he also has visible fangs. Additionally, he wears a silver dangling cross earring on his left ear.

Edward usually appears with a slight smile on his lips and somewhat amused, liking to appear suddenly.

Despite being a long-lived vampire, Edward always appears indifferent and tired of everything around him, just lying in his room and sleeping, not bothering with his duties as Obscuary's captain.

Even so, Edward can know everything and is very clear about it. He also likes to be a love advisor to MC by asking her if she likes Rui or Lyca, and even flirts with her himself at times, much to his housemates' chagrins.

He professed that he is at least 400 years old but has lost track of the exact number, admitting that he "stopped counting after 300." He is the most powerful vampire in the world. He grew up in a country in Eastern Europe that borders the sea.

Before he joined Darkwick Academy, he used to travel in Eastern Europe. When he traveled to Japan on a whim, he claimed he was captured, most likely by Darkwick Academy. In his Affinity 25 (max) voiceline, he mentions a woman that he used to know that the MC somewhat reminds him of.

When Rui Mizuki inadvertently made contact with Edward's arm and it appeared to "come off," his arm effortlessly was pushed back into place, resulting in an instant and complete healing.

Edward is among the five murder suspects of the One-Eyed Sleeping Beauty Murder case.

Natural Abilities

• Vampire physiology — Like typical vampires, Edward can also transform others if he chooses to bite them, he also has an appetite for blood and a dislike of light or warm places. Though, there are some setbacks to this, such as not being able to feel what human food tastes like anymore.

◦ Bat transformation — As a vampire, Edward can freely transform into a bat, with flying usually being his preferred mode of transport.

◦ Immortality — While that is the case for most if not all the other anomalies, and despite Edward automatically being classified as immortal per his nature as a vampire, Rui's curse seems to somewhat override this, making Ed technically only semi-immortal, as the latter's arm fell off immediately when Rui accidentally touched him, and even accidentally "killed" him some time in the past.

Wide intellect — He was able to surmise that the actual anomaly was Ms. Takamine and not anyone else in the resort, just by her request of "special service" and the summoning circle the MC found alone. At one point, he claims that he has a "sixth sense" and knows most things that others don't. He has also displayed knowledge of a variety of things from during his time traveling the world, such as information on the barometz and Kyklos anomalies, or instantly figuring out what Lyca's stigma was based on observation alone.

◦ Enhanced proficiency — Edward is one of the few known ghouls who has a capable enough mental state and proficiency to trigger his stigma mentally.
