Yoozu

Yoozu belongs to the Red Quagoa, a particularly capable battle-oriented subgroup within the Quagoa race.

He first comes to prominence when Pe Riyuro appoints him as the field commander in the assault on the dwarven fortress.

Yoozu commands one of the most elite units among the Quagoa clan.

His selection as commander reflects both his tactical skill and the trust Pe Riyuro places in him.

He deeply respects Pe Riyuro and consistently acts with the clan’s survival in mind, even when this conflicts with the expectation of glorious victory.

After the failed campaign, he continues to stand beside Riyuro as a close subordinate and executor of his will.

During the Quagoa attack on the dwarven fortress, Yoozu leads the offensive as overall commander.

The campaign is expected to be an easy victory, with the Quagoa anticipating domination over the dwarves.

When Ainz Ooal Gown and his forces unexpectedly intervene in the conflict, the situation changes instantly and catastrophically.

Recognizing the overwhelming power of this third party and the futility of continued fighting, Yoozu immediately orders a retreat.

To ensure his troops can escape, he personally takes position on the front line.

By doing so, he attempts to delay the enemy’s pursuit and protect as many of his warriors as possible, demonstrating both courage and a strong sense of responsibility.

After this audience, Yoozu turns his efforts toward rebuilding and reorganizing the clan’s remaining military strength.

When Shalltear Bloodfallen and Aura Bella Fiora infiltrate the dwarven capital, Feo Berkana, Yoozu once again fights alongside Pe Riyuro as one of his closest subordinates.

He joins the attempt to repel these intruders, only to directly witness power far beyond his understanding.

The overwhelming strength of Shalltear and Aura devastates the Quagoa.

Even the usually formidable and composed Pe Riyuro is left mentally and emotionally exhausted by the hopelessness of the battle.

Seeing his revered leader in such a state, Yoozu fully grasps the depth of Riyuro’s despair.

Confronted with the absolute difference in power, his own spirit is broken as well, realizing that resistance is meaningless.

Understanding Pe Riyuro’s tragic but calculated resolve, Yoozu accepts his orders without hesitation.

Under Riyuro’s command, he participates in the “thinning” of the clan’s population, a grim measure meant to ensure that at least part of the Quagoa can survive under new circumstances.
