Tenya Iida

A male student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School, he is one of the tallest and most physically built students, easily recognizable with his glasses and neatly parted hair. Born in Tokyo, he is serious by nature, always buttoning his shirt up to the top and raising his hand before speaking. He speaks with sharp, direct gestures. Initially, his serious demeanor made Izuku Midoriya perceive him as intimidating.

He is the second son of a renowned hero family, aspiring to be a "disciplined and beloved hero who leads others," much like his famous older brother, the Turbo Hero Ingenium.

He usually refers to himself as "boku," but uses "ore" in school to avoid sounding too refined. When emotional, he reverts to "boku" even in front of his classmates.

His hero costume, inspired by road racing gear, features a streamlined full armor design with a pushed-up racing helmet. His legs are equipped with a six-cylinder mini-engine to enhance speed, and a cooling system that allows him to use his Recipro Burst without significant drawbacks.

Since the entrance exam, he has respected Izuku for his ability to see through the practical test's structure. He initially gave up the role of class representative, thinking Izuku was more suitable, but took on the role after calming his panicked classmates during a media intrusion, encouraged by Izuku's recommendation.

After his brother's retirement, he was asked to inherit the hero name Ingenium. Although he initially felt unworthy and announced his real name, he adopted the name Ingenium during a confrontation with his brother's enemy, Stain, vowing to live up to it. A moment of revenge against Stain was curbed by a wake-up call from Todoroki, reminding him of his admiration for his brother and reaffirming his commitment to the hero path.

"Quirk": Engine

His calves are equipped with engine-like organs, allowing him to run 50 meters in 3.04 seconds. His fuel is 100% orange juice, and drinking carbonated drinks causes his engine to stall. He can shift gears from first to second to third, adapting to various situations. While he may not match Bakugo or Izuku in burst speed, he is the fastest in Class A over long distances.

For his Quirk training, he focuses on "strengthening his foundation" by running continuously around the perimeter during training camps. He also trains by pulling out his mufflers, growing more durable ones to increase his horsepower.
