Rigurd

Rigurd is the chief of the goblin village that Rimuru first encountered after his reincarnation. In Volume 1, Rigurd was named by Rimuru, evolving into a hobgoblin and rejuvenating into a large, robust middle-aged man. Rimuru granted him the position of Goblin Lord, and later, as nearby goblins also joined under Rimuru, Rigurd was promoted to Goblin King.

He loves banquets and often looks for reasons to hold them. As one of Rimuru's oldest subordinates, his dramatic transformation from a frail old man surprised Rimuru, leading to the term "Rigurd Shock." He is a central figure in the internal affairs of the Jura Tempest Federation, working alongside the oldest members responsible for judiciary, Rugurd; legislation, Regurd; administration, Rogurd; and production, Lilina (voiced by Reina Kondo), to manage the federation.

As a civil officer, he rarely goes to the battlefield, but he is always training and has a martial side. While his strength was equivalent to B-rank in Volume 2, by Volume 13, it had surpassed A-rank.
