Moblit Berner

Vice Captain of the Survey Corps' Fourth Squad.

He is the deputy to Squad Leader Hange and often accompanies her in actions. He frequently plays the role of calming or reprimanding the reckless Hange.

He engages in battle with the Colossal Titan and Armored Titan at Wall Rose but is defeated and severely injured, though he soon returns to the front lines. During the conflict with the royal government and the First Interior Squad, he accompanies Hange and helps subdue the First Interior Squad members who were pursuing Flegel.

In the final operation to reclaim Wall Maria, he throws Hange into a well to protect her from the explosion caused by the Titan transformation of Bertholdt, but he himself is blown away by the blast and dies in battle.
