Moses Braun

A soldier belonging to the Survey Corps. He participated in the expedition outside the walls before the Titan invasion in 845 but was killed in action. In the story, he was the first to attempt to strike the appearing Titan. When the Survey Corps returned, only his right arm was brought back to his mother. It was revealed by the editor that in the original work, he was called "Braun," but Braun is actually his surname, and it was a mistake by the author that his mother called him by his surname instead of his first name. Therefore, in the anime version, it was corrected to "Moses."
