Solid Silva is a royal-born magic knight serving in the Silver Eagle squad, one of the Magic Knight squads of the Clover Kingdom.

He is the second son of the prestigious Silva family, placing him below Nozel and Nebra and above Noelle in the sibling hierarchy.

As a royal, Solid possesses considerable magical power and refined control over his Water Magic.

However, his arrogance, cruelty, and lack of teamwork often overshadow his raw talent.

He is known for his deeply contemptuous attitude toward commoners and those he considers “failures,” especially his younger sister Noelle Silva, whom he bullied for years due to her difficulty controlling her magic.

After returning via a combined spell, Solid learns that Fuegoleon Vermillion has been gravely injured and left in a comatose state after being ambushed.

Displaying his typical cruelty, Solid mocks Fuegoleon for being defeated.

Nozel immediately rebukes him, stating that those who fell for traps and were not even present in the real fight are “beneath” the man they are mocking.

This harsh scolding from Nozel publicly exposes Solid’s pettiness and cowardice.

Royal Knights Selection Exam

During the Royal Knights (Royal Selection) Exam, Solid is placed on a team with Alecdora Sandler.

Their mission in the first round is to protect their own crystal and destroy the opposing team’s crystal.

Fate pairs them against a team that includes Noelle.

At first, Solid fights alongside his team, but his obsession with Noelle quickly takes over.

When Noelle moves toward the enemy crystal, Solid ignores the strategy and chases her alone, abandoning his allies.

He demands a one-on-one confrontation, certain that he will easily crush her as he always has.

Elf Reincarnation Incident

During the Elf Reincarnation arc, some members of the Golden Dawn squad become possessed by reincarnated elves.

While Solid is in his room at the Silva family residence, angrily brooding over his loss to Noelle, one of these elf-possessed Golden Dawn members, Letoile Becquerel, attacks.

Solid and his sister Nebra Silva are quickly overwhelmed.

Nebra is defeated with little effort, leaving Solid struggling desperately to hold off the enemy.

Just as Letoile is about to finish Solid off, Noelle and Nozel arrive and intervene.

Solid witnesses the very sister he called a failure now standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Nozel, fighting to protect him and Nebra.

Noelle and Nozel defeat the powerful enemy in front of him, proving just how far Noelle has come.

This experience forces Solid to reevaluate his perception of her.

Recognizing that Noelle has surpassed him, he begrudgingly acknowledges her strength.

He tells her that she is indeed stronger than he is now, but believes she will grow even further and surpass those who are currently stronger as well.

In a rare moment of genuine support, he pushes her forward, telling her to go and fight—and to make sure she returns alive.

This marks a critical turning point in their relationship and in Solid’s own character development.

Demon Attack on the Clover Kingdom

While Asta and others are undergoing intense training in the Heart Kingdom, Solid continues his own training.

His efforts bear fruit to a degree, and he becomes capable of unleashing powerful Water Magic spells in defense of the Clover Kingdom.

When a colossal demon attacks the Clover Kingdom, Solid joins the effort to stop it.

He launches his strongest magic and manages to barely divert the trajectory of the demon’s attack.

However, this is the limit of his power; he cannot truly stop the demon on his own and is pushed into a desperate situation.

At this crucial moment, Asta, having completed his training with Nacht Faust, arrives and saves Solid and the others, once again exposing the gap between Solid and the story’s top-tier fighters.
