Kilik Rung is a powerful Pot Meister at the DWMA, fighting alongside his twin Demon Weapon partners, Pot of Fire and Pot of Thunder, which he equips as gauntlets. He is a prominent Black character renowned for his combat skills, considered one of the academy's top fighters alongside Death the Kid and Black☆Star.
Kilik is a young Black man with distinctive dreadlocks and black-rimmed glasses.
A perceptive Magic Tool soldier once assessed his physical stats as: skin age of 13, a 65cm waist, and a lean 10% body fat.
Despite his somewhat mischievous look, Kilik has a warm and friendly personality. He is passionate and easily excited for a fight, often exclaiming his catchphrase.
He is admittedly not a strong student academically, confessing that strategy isn't his forte. This was hilariously proven when he scored a mere 5 points on a major exam, placing him fourth from the bottom.
Kilik is a student at the prestigious Death Weapon Meister Academy.
In the world of *Soul Eater Not!*, he is shown to be a celebrity, having secured sponsorship deals due to his popularity as a Meister. He appears to be quite generous, donating all his earnings to his hometown.
Pot Meister
As a Pot Meister, Kilik's partners are the twin magic pots, Pot of Fire (the older brother) and Pot of Thunder (the younger sister).
He equips them as powerful gauntlets that absorb earth spirit energy, allowing him to fight with a fierce boxing style by pummeling his opponents.
Utility Meister
Kilik is more than just a brawler; he possesses the incredibly rare "Utility Meister" ability. This allows him to read and synchronize with any weapon's soul wavelength, a feat most Meisters cannot achieve.
Normally, a weapon will reject anyone but their chosen partner, but Kilik bypasses this limitation. He once showcased this divine skill by fighting with four weapons at once: his own two partners plus Liz and Patricia Thompson.
He is part of the DWMA's top trio of fighters, often mentioned in the same breath as Death the Kid and Black☆Star.
Kilik is good friends with Soul Eater, with whom he shares a passion for music. He is also close with Black☆Star, affectionately calling him "Bla☆Star."
His Japanese voice actor is the famous Kenichi Suzumura.
Despite his immense talent, Kilik had almost no significant role until the BREW arc, leaving many readers unaware of his true abilities. Some anime-only viewers were surprised that such a well-known voice actor was cast for what they initially thought was a minor character.
He is skilled at playing percussion instruments.
Due to his similar appearance, he is often compared to Ogun Montgomery from the prequel series *Fire Force*. He also shares both a creator and a voice actor with Takehisa Hinawa from the same series.

Early Days at DWMA
From early on, Kilik was recognized as one of the academy's most formidable fighters, on par with Death the Kid and Black☆Star.
He, Kid, and Black☆Star joined forces to deal with the chaos caused by the Holy Sword Excalibur.
The "BREW" Conflict
As one of the top Meisters of his generation, Kilik was selected to participate in the mission to retrieve the magic tool "BREW."
It was during this time, with Kid absent, that he fought near Medusa's laboratory, demonstrating his incredible "Utility Meister" skill by wielding the Thompson sisters.
Assault on Baba Yaga's Castle
Kilik played a crucial role in the operation to infiltrate Baba Yaga's Castle.
He successfully teamed up with Ox Ford and Kim Diehl to destroy one of the powerful magic tools within the fortress.
Spartoi
After the successful castle mission, Kilik was inducted into "Spartoi," the DWMA's newly formed elite unit of young fighters.
This honor came with a promotion, elevating him from a one-star to a two-star Meister.
