Iblis

Iblis is one of the Eight Demon Kings in Blue Exorcist, known as the "King of Fire." She is a powerful demon who rules over Gehenna, the world of demons. Seventeen years ago, she appeared in the material world wearing a body wreathed in flames and took on the form of a woman, making a strong impression on everyone. Iblis is closely connected to her younger brother Egyn and is famous for her deep affection toward him. She is loyal to Satan and has complicated relationships with other powerful demons and exorcists. Even though her name is not clearly shown in the manga, official events confirmed her identity as Iblis.

Iblis shows herself as a woman with flames covering her whole body. She looks both fierce and beautiful, standing out among other demons. Her appearance is strong and unforgettable, fitting her title as the King of Fire.

Iblis is known for her strong loyalty to Satan. She also feels deep love and care for her younger brother Egyn. Her emotions are intense, making her both passionate and dangerous. She is not afraid to fight for what she wants.

Service and Betrayal

After Satan took control of the Asylum, Iblis started to serve him directly. When the facility was ordered to be abandoned, Iblis tried to kill Yuri Egin, because she felt Yuri had tricked her father (Satan).

Stopped by Lucifer

Iblis’s attempt to hurt Yuri was blocked by Lucifer. This stopped her plans and frustrated her, showing the tension between the demon kings and the people around Satan.

Aftermath

Later, when Yuri Egin and Satan tried to escape together, Iblis was left behind by Satan. Despite her loyalty, she was no longer needed, which might explain her dangerous and unstable behavior.

Iblis first appears in volume 23 of the manga, on page 125 (according to the Kindle version). While her name does not show up in the manga, it is listed in the official "Demon Election" event at Jump Festa 2020.

Iblis comes from Gehenna, the world of demons, and her human vessel takes the form of a woman. She is different from other vessels created for Lucifer and may have been strengthened with elixirs to make her body tougher.
