Yuri Egin

The woman believed to be the mother of Rin and Yukio. A lower second-class exorcist. Only mentioned by the Three Wise Men, her details remain unknown. Rin's eyes and Yukio's mole are said to be inherited from her. Treated as a great sinner for bearing the children of Satan, much of her information is classified.

She was born into the dismantled Egin financial conglomerate, but her mother died of illness 46 years ago, so she was raised as a homeless person by Blind Nico, former exorcist Oku-chan, and Obaba at the Northern Cross. However, she lost all three in a fire 40 years ago and met Shirou in her loneliness, leading to her being taken into the asylum. As she grew up, she acquired the titles of first and second kind knight, holding qualifications as a demon trainer and breeder, and worked at a demon farm. She liked demons and had a resistance to exorcism, so her rank was low, but she was talented and well-known among the knights for writing textbooks and conducting seminars for students and knights.

20 years ago, at the age of 25, she escaped from Section 13 and met the incarnated Satan, who took a liking to her, leading to her appointment as his educator. Concerned that his intelligence was growing too rapidly in just 1 year and 3 months without enough experience, she suggested he should interact with others, but this stoked a rivalry with Shirou, leading to their escape from the section. Believing that his deteriorating body would return to the section, she went alone to Satan during the asylum siege 17 years ago, convincing him to abandon the asylum. However, as they were about to leave the facility, they were surrounded by the knights due to Eminescu's betrayal, and after Satan collapsed, she was captured. At that time, it was discovered she was 4-5 weeks pregnant, and she gave birth to twins under strict surveillance. Later, to sever Satan's obsession, she was nearly killed, escaping with Shirou from the knights, but she exhausted her strength during the escape and died.

Shura had met Yuri only once when Shirou brought the newly rescued Shura to visit Yuri, where she bathed her, cooked a meal, and they shared a meal together.
