Daddy Masterson

A novel and anime original character. Known as the strongest gunman in the East Blue and a bounty hunter. His nickname is "Daddy the Father."

He dotes on his daughter Carol (voiced by Konami Yoshida). He was formerly a Navy Lieutenant and known as "the Navy's number one sniper," but after losing a duel to Yasopp of the Red Hair Pirates, he left the Navy and became a bounty hunter. He was in the same class as Smoker in the Navy. In Loguetown, he confronted Yasopp's son, Usopp, and acknowledged his "pride." The goggles Usopp currently uses (the latest model from the North Blue) were spoils from that battle.

Both father and son have significantly different designs in the novel illustrations and the anime.
