The information manipulation specialist known as the "Eraser," who created the false military police documents that led to Doppo Kunikida's arrest. A 26-year-old man with a neatly parted fringe, wearing a bow tie and suit.

A collaborator and secret weapon of Dostoyevsky, he is the only person who knows why Dostoyevsky allowed himself to be captured by the Special Abilities Division. Previously, he was held captive by the criminal organization "Agency No. 7" to help cover up government crimes. During this time, he was asked by Ango to erase the criminal record of Dazai's mafia days.

After Dostoyevsky's arrest, he killed the popular mystery writer "Yokomizo" (voiced by Takaki Hoshino), who was also a friend, using Kindaichi's pen name to sell Yokomizo's unpublished manuscript in the underground auction market to secure his escape funds. He then disguised another person as himself and made it look like he had fallen from a tower. Despite his efforts, Ranpo deduced from the worn soles of his shoes that the real "Eraser" was still alive and called him a "monster," only for him to use his ability to prevent Ranpo's super deduction from working. However, Ranpo identified him as the culprit without any evidence and even uncovered that Yokomizo's death was assisted suicide due to a terminal illness. Ranpo threatened to make this public information, forcing him to confess everything and surrender to the police. However, during transportation in a police car, he was kidnapped by Gogol, the assassin from the "Five Deadly Omens," to dissolve the "perfect crime." He quickly used the police car's radio to warn Ranpo not to take on an upcoming major job, though this warning was in vain.

Later, under torture by Gogol and his group, he dismantles the perfect crime, resurrecting the evidence needed to arrest Dazai. Though imprisoned in a bank managed by a government agency, he was rescued by Atsushi and Kyouka. Despite his distrust of Ango, who had previously given him orders, he provided information on the "Five Deadly Omens." Since then, he has been sheltered in Poe's mansion, conversing with Yokomizo in his mind through writing mystery novels.

Perfect Crime (Kanzenhanzai)

An ability that creates multiple mysterious entities, completely erasing any evidence of his crimes. This ability was used in the past to cleanse Dazai's criminal history. It can also be applied to move without being recorded by surveillance cameras, by erasing evidence while holding stolen goods.

The ability's name is derived from the detective novel by the literary figure Mushitarō Oguri, who shares the same name as the character.
