Kaseki

A 60-year-old man with a long beard. A diligent craftsman who is a central figure in Senkuu and the others' manufacturing efforts. He is 155 centimeters tall, weighs 57 kilograms, and was born on February 9th. His blood type is AB. Despite being an elderly man, he possesses a robust physique and is knowledgeable about technology, much like Senkuu. His skills are such that he can create Kohaku's shield without iron tools or dyes and craft a Hickman pump, which even modern specialized craftsmen make, using only a drawing by Senkuu as a guide. He processes the glass made by Senkuu to create experimental tools. When he imagines or gets excited about making things, his body swells, and his clothes burst off. Originally, he was a boy who loved making things and would build bridges and shields to avoid being looked down upon by other villagers. As a result, he is nearly 50 years older than Senkuu and the others, and although he is of an age where he would typically be retired, he is still considered active. He seems to have taken a liking to Gen and often has him help with tasks. After everything is over, he works with Senkuu on developing a time machine.
