Kohaku

A blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl living in the village. She is the first resident of Ishigami Village that Senkuu encounters. She is 16 years old, stands 160 centimeters tall, and weighs 52 kilograms. Born on August 8th, she has blood type B. She speaks in an old-fashioned manner and often starts her sentences with a breathy "Ha!" before speaking. She wears clothing similar to a blue dress. Chrome calls her "female gorilla," and she punishes him each time, but she still possesses the girlishness appropriate for her age. With an astonishing eyesight of 11.0 and nimble movements, she boasts the greatest combat strength in the village. Tsukasa describes her combat abilities as unbelievable for a girl of high school age, but her skills do not match those of Tsukasa or Hyoga.

After her mother (voiced by Akiko Kimura) passed away and her sister Ruri became frail, her father Kokuyo ordered her to become a priestess to ensure the Hundred Stories were not lost. However, she had no intention of supporting a plan that would be okay with Ruri's death. She believed that if she were ever in a position to succeed as a priestess, the thread of willpower keeping Ruri alive would snap, so she became unruly to make herself unfit for the role and disliked by her father.

She met Senkuu while fetching hot spring water for Ruri and began to cooperate with him. She confessed that she fell for him after he saved her when she was trapped under a large tree cut down by Tsukasa. She witnessed Tsukasa taking Yuzuriha hostage and Senkuu taking the attack in her place, showing a savage side by attempting to follow Tsukasa and kill him without question. However, she has no experience with killing and, when capturing Homura, determined that capturing her unharmed was impossible but killing was possible, so she asked Senkuu for permission to kill Homura to ensure she wouldn't hesitate when necessary.

When Kaseki's excitement over crafting caused his body to swell and his clothes to burst, she blushed and covered her face with her hands. In contrast, when Chrome practiced attacking Magma's testicles as a strategy for the tournament, she advised him to "actively strike the testicles," showing her calm demeanor in combat situations. She showed no concern when using the shield her father gave her as material for gears, indicating she values practicality over attachment to objects.

Though usually tied up, her hair is even curlier than Senkuu's. After everything was resolved, she joined the police organization and worked with Homura to teach self-defense and maintain public order.
