He refers to science as "sorcery" and established the village's science and arithmetic. After meeting Senkuu, he learned the wonders of science. Although he has feelings for Ruri, Chrome himself was unaware of his romantic feelings. He mastered "sorcery" (science) to cure her illness. However, he couldn't find a way to completely cure the illness and was considered an eccentric by those around him, but meeting Senkuu led him to find a way to save Ruri. His combat ability seems low, but he is trained in activities like mineral exploration, and compared to modern people with average physical abilities, his physical ability seems higher.
