King Cabalinu. One of the Elector Lords. A character appearing in Volume 3.

A bloodline supremacist who displays a magnanimous attitude. While he gathers support as one of the Elector Lords, he struggles with declining support from his vassals and citizens due to his excessive bloodline supremacy, and is in conflict with the meritocratic Rubel. Because of his bloodline supremacist views, he highly values Wein and nominates him as an Elector Lord without prior arrangements, causing confusion among those around him, including Wein. Besides his son, Prince Skilee, he had a daughter of the same age as Wein, but he condemned her as an illegitimate child for not displaying talents that satisfied him and executed her along with her mother. He ignored the abilities of his vassals and measured their worth solely by bloodline, resulting in a rift with his hereditary vassals and a lack of popularity so severe that he had to rely on newcomers like Holonuye for support, causing Wein to be internally exasperated and quickly dismiss him.

He is also a typical Western king, indifferent to the persecution of the Flahm people. In fact, he gleefully told Wein about how he once hunted Flahm people for sport and, having hunted them to extinction, asked Wein to supply him with Flahm people from the Natra territory, which enraged Wein and led to his being slain.
