May Atwood is a male character who first appears in the college arc. He is a classmate of Chise Hatori and is almost always seen together with Veronica Rickenbacker, effectively serving as her attendant. May is the older sibling and is 12 years old.
In the past, his parents were killed in an attack similar to the one that targeted Lucy Webster’s family home. After this tragedy, May and his younger sibling were taken in and protected by the Rickenbacker family.
