At the end of the story, after PLUTO saves the Earth, Atom asks Brau 1589 for help.

Brau 1589 escapes and visits Alexander and Dr. Roosevelt, planning to execute them with his own spear.

However, when he senses real feelings in President Alexander, he lets him go and only punishes Dr. Roosevelt.
