Character Introduction

Edit
The dark hero of this work. The creator of Atom and a world-renowned authority on electronic brains. He is also the inventor of a part that has a significant impact on the operation of artificial intelligence, known as the Tenma-type chip. Like in the original work, he has a twisted view of robots. He is the former head of the Japanese Ministry of Science and the predecessor of Professor Ochanomizu. According to Dr. Hoffman, he possesses a "perfect brain."
He created Atom in the image of his son Tobio, who died in a traffic accident, but out of frustration that Atom did not grow up as he wished, he sold Atom to a circus troupe. After leaving the Ministry of Science, he disappeared from the public eye and vanished into the underworld. However, during a meeting in Kimberly with Dr. Hoffman and Dr. Newton-Howard, he appeared before them, comprehensively covered their research content, and then disappeared again. Later, at the request of Abullah, he created a unique robot, Goji, which he proudly deemed "perfect."
To repair Atom, who was confirmed "dead" after a battle with the "enemy," he appeared at his former workplace, the Ministry of Science, and demonstrated his remarkable skills to accomplish Atom's repair. After Gesicht's death, he contacted Gesicht's wife Helena, who had come to Japan, and was entrusted with Gesicht's memory, which he gave to Atom. Fully aware of the risk that injecting feelings of hatred could turn Atom into an uncontrollable monster, he secretly declared, "I will become a devil to revive Atom," and "rebooted" Atom. As a result, Epsilon's death awakened Atom. He was later abducted by Abullah, prompting further developments. Subsequently, he contacted Professor Ochanomizu and declared that Goji had become an embodiment of hatred and that the Earth would perish.
Despite his outward words, he harbors deep affection for Atom, and while he condemns Atom as a "failure," he wept, equating Atom's death with the death of his son Tobio. Through encounters with Uran and Helena, he realized that not only Atom but also other artificial brains were becoming more human-like, deeply understanding human emotions, and continuing to evolve. He candidly expressed to the reunited Hoffman a sentiment akin to "fear," wondering, "How far are we scientists allowed to go?"
"The World's Greatest Robot" version
He appears out of nowhere after Professor Ochanomizu is abducted by Sultan. He enhances and modifies Atom's power to 1,000,000 horsepower.
