Ilse Langnar

A female soldier of the Survey Corps who participated in the 34th expedition outside the walls. She appears in the special edition "Ilse's Notebook" published in 'Weekly Maga' and is depicted as a main character. Her squad was annihilated, and she encountered a Titan without a horse or equipment. However, the Titan spoke meaningful words and showed a submissive posture, prompting her to attempt recording and conversing in her journal. Gradually, she couldn't suppress her emotions due to her hatred for Titans and hurled insults, at which point the Titan suddenly became agitated, and despite trying to escape, she was caught, devoured, and killed. The notebook containing her journal about the Titan she encountered was retrieved by Levi a year later, and its records provided valuable information to the Survey Corps as her "achievement." In the OVA version "Ilse's Notebook," after consuming her head, the Titan buried her body in a tree as if to "bury" it. Her belongings were sent to her family by Hange.
