The First Prince. Makes a significant appearance in Volume 4. He is a young man with a very strong sense of pride and has no particular advantage in the imperial succession other than being the eldest son. In fact, he is incompetent, unable to think rationally, and is jealous of Wein, who, despite being in the same position as the eldest son, has now gained prestige both domestically and internationally. He schemes to carry out completely meaningless harassment. He is supported by conservative factions such as influential nobles.
