Momiji

The daughter of the chief of the Longnose Tribe, Kaede, she serves as the elder's proxy. Her father is Hakurou. She is hot-tempered, proud, and confident. In battle, she possesses the Extra Skill "Heavenly Wolf Awakening," which nullifies illusions and magic, surpassing even Albis in strength.

In Volume 8, she meets Benimaru, who visits the village on behalf of Rimuru for the construction of a highway. Kaede demands Benimaru's marriage to Momiji as a condition for the highway construction, but Momiji declares her wish to win Benimaru's attention with her own strength. She meets Hakurou for the first time in the capital, Rimuru, and decides to become Benimaru's wife while starting her apprenticeship with Hakurou, leading to a rivalry with Albis for the position of wife. Later, she learns cooking from Shuna and fills the moat by taking over as the commander of the Fourth Corps on behalf of Benimaru as his "wife." After many fights with Albis, a friendship forms, and together they devise a plan to become Benimaru's wives, finally securing the position of Benimaru's first wife in Volume 14.
