A male soldier belonging to the Special Operations Squad. 19 years old. Height: 173 cm. Weight: 61 kg. He was transferred to the Levi Squad at the same time as Eren's assignment. He is deeply devoted to Levi and often imitates his appearance and behavior, but frequently ends up overdoing it, often biting his tongue. Within the squad, he serves as a comedic relief, but his record against Titans is outstanding, with 39 kills and 9 assists, making him stand out even among the strong members of the Levi Squad. He has a long-standing relationship with Petra, and according to Eld, during their first expedition outside the walls, he and Petra cried and wet themselves. He fought in coordination with Eld and Petra to help Eren escape from the Female Titan, managing to reach its nape but was blocked by its hardening ability. He was caught off guard by this and was kicked to death. In the anime version, there was a depiction of him having parents and siblings (this depiction was cut in the movie version "Wings of Freedom." In the original work, there is no depiction of his family structure). In the OVA "Ilse's Notebook," he had not yet started imitating Levi's appearance and behavior, and according to Petra, he had a "country bumpkin way of speaking," which she disliked. When he tried to take down the Titan that devoured Ilse, he was stopped by Hange, who prioritized capture, putting him in danger, but he was saved by Levi, leading to his deep devotion to him.
