Ranga

Originally the son of the chief of the Fangwolf tribe that attacked the goblin village, he becomes the chief of his tribe after his father's death. In Volume 1, he and his tribe become subordinates of Rimuru, and by Rimuru's naming, they evolve into the Tempest Wolf tribe, transforming into giant wolves with horns growing from the star-shaped marks on their foreheads. With Rimuru's evolution into a Demon Lord, he becomes a Black Tempest Star Wolf, and in Volume 14, Rimuru transfers his soul to him, awakening him as the Divine Wind Spirit Wolf, and he is appointed as one of the Holy Demon Twelve Guardian Kings with the title of Star Wolf King.

In battle, he is strong alone but often fights in combination with others. He uses attacks such as the Black Thunderstorm, which creates electrified tornadoes, and the Gale Demon Wolf Dance (Dance with Wolves), where he and Gobta transform into a magic wolf form and produce supersonic shockwaves. He possesses the unique skill "King of Magic Wolves," which allows him to perfectly command his tribe, and after awakening, he inherits the abilities of Rimuru and Veldora, gaining the ultimate ability "King of Star Wind" (Hastur), which even controls the weather.

Although he has thoughts about his father's death, he holds no grudge against Rimuru; rather, he feels indebted to him and refers to him not by name but as "my lord" or simply "lord."

He usually lurks in Rimuru's shadow to guard him, and when he appears, it is by Rimuru's instruction and in a smaller size than usual. He enjoys being petted by Rimuru and is sometimes treated like a pet. At the founding festival's martial arts tournament, he was supposed to abstain from participating on Rimuru's orders, but he ends up joining the battle in response to Gobta's summoning.
