Despite abducting children with his magic, he is fundamentally not malicious and acts mostly out of loneliness and a wish to have friends.

He possesses the snow magic attribute and is capable of creating wide-area snowfall, demonstrating considerable magical power.

His frail build and gentle demeanor contrast sharply with the criminal activities he takes part in.

Neige appears timid, dependent, and emotionally immature, clinging to Baro for approval and guidance.

He lacks strong personal convictions at first and simply follows his brother’s orders.

Deep down, he is kind-hearted and lonely, wanting genuine friends rather than victims.

His use of snow magic to gather children is less about cruelty and more about desperately trying to create companionship in the only way he knows.

After his encounters with Asta and Gauche Adlai, Neige begins to reflect on his actions and his blind dependence on Baro.

He shows genuine remorse, openly admits his crimes, and asks for a chance to atone and build real friendships.

Neige shapes snow into frost-like, tree-ice structures that bind and immobilize enemies.

This spell focuses on capture and restraint rather than direct damage.

Neige initially appears as a child kidnapper working with Baro in a remote hideout.

He uses his Snow Friends and wide-area snow to gather children, including Marie Adlai, whom Baro exploits for his own purposes.

When Gauche Adlai arrives to rescue Marie, Neige is completely overwhelmed and defeated, unable to put up meaningful resistance.

Soon after, Baro loses control and goes on a violent rampage, turning even on Neige.

Neige is attacked by his own brother during this rampage but is saved by Asta.

Asta’s actions and resolve leave a strong impression on him, planting the seeds for Neige’s later change of heart.

Asta and his allies ultimately defeat Baro’s rampaging form, but Baro continues to move and attempts a surprise attack on Asta.

At this crucial moment, Neige steps in, protecting Asta and freezing Baro, effectively stopping his brother at great personal emotional cost.

In the anime adaptation, Baro is completely destroyed in this moment, leaving only his clothes behind.

Neige tearfully holds the remaining clothes, mourning his brother while realizing how much he had depended on him in all the wrong ways.

Afterward, Neige reflects deeply on how he had always relied on Baro and never taken responsibility for his own choices.

He sincerely apologizes to his brother, recognizing both Baro’s influence and his own complicity.

Neige then confesses his crimes and expresses his willingness to pay for what he has done.

He asks Asta, once his atonement is complete, if Asta would be willing to become his friend, highlighting how much he longs for a real, honest bond.

Before he can move on, Licht (in reality Patry, posing as Licht) appears to rescue Sally and stabs Neige.

Despite the severity of the attack, Neige survives.

Later, when Gauche is preparing to go help Yami Sukehiro and the others, Neige gives Gauche his remaining magic power.

He also takes the opportunity to apologize directly for endangering Gauche’s beloved sister Marie Adlai.

After these events, Neige is shown to be living quietly together with Theresa Rapual.

In the anime, he receives a lighter sentence because he genuinely regrets his actions and had been acting mostly under Baro’s orders, with no real malicious intention.

Instead of harsh punishment, Neige does service work at a church, reflecting his commitment to atonement.

He spends his days trying to make amends, showing that he has truly changed from a lonely kidnapper to a remorseful young man searching for true friendship.
