Chloe Aubert

Chloe, a 10-year-old girl with a quiet personality, was one of the children imperfectly summoned, facing imminent death due to the adverse effects of the imperfect summoning. In Volume 4, she meets Rimuru during his visit to the Kingdom of Ingracia, starts calling him "teacher," and grows fond of him. She is saved by housing the soul of Chronoa during a visit to the dwelling of spirits with Rimuru. Rimuru gives her Shizue's anti-magic mask, and later, in Volume 9, she participates in the founding festival of the Jura Tempest Federation, where she and others, including Kenya, are taken under the protection of the Federation.

In Volume 11, she visits the Kingdom of Ruberios with Rimuru and witnesses the death of Hinata, who shielded her from an attack by Granbell. She travels back in time with Hinata's soul and disappears from this world. After time traveling, she regains the memories of her past reincarnations and, to avoid her and Rimuru's deaths caused by Yuuki in the future, she acts as a hero with the help of Luminous and is later sealed in the Holy Casket by Luminous. After being unsealed by Yuuki and revived as Chronoa, she regains Chloe's consciousness with the help of Rimuru and Luminous. She stays in the Jura Tempest Federation with Rimuru and Kenya, and in Volume 16, she prevents an assassination attempt on Rimuru by Ziju and others, but is temporarily mentally controlled by Feldway, rendering her unable to fight. She overcomes the mental control at the Heavenly Tower and, secretly tasked by Ciel to protect Rimuru, she saves him from Michael's time stop and defeats Michael's parallel existence in a duel. From then on, she also possesses the traits of Chronoa, unexpectedly kissing Rimuru and offering the remnants of the King of Hope as a bribe to Ciel.

She possesses the unique skill "Time Traveler" and, with Rimuru's intervention, acquires the ultimate ability "King of Time and Space," gaining the power to stop time. She also inherits the ultimate ability "King of Hope" from Granbell, and as a result of the fusion of her "Hero's Egg" with Hinata's "Egg," she awakens as a true hero and becomes an extraordinary being. Temporarily controlled by Feldway over the King of Hope, she absorbs the authority of the King of Justice from Michael's parallel existence, and the King of Time and Space evolves into the "God of Time and Space."

Chronoa

An alternate personality of Chloe. Chronoa is an alias used by Chloe when she traveled back in time to act as a hero, named by Hinata. Through this naming, she absorbs Hinata's "Usurper," and with the memory of "Rimuru's death," the "Usurper" becomes an embodiment of malice. After Chloe and Hinata's personalities fall asleep, Chronoa becomes the dominant personality, acting on destructive impulses until calming down upon reuniting with Rimuru, where the "Usurper" is integrated into the "King of Time and Space," and she is optimized into a divine core. In this state, both Chloe and Chronoa's egos exist in one body, with Chronoa appearing as an adult when her consciousness is dominant. In Volume 16, she focuses on controlling the "King of Hope" dominated by Feldway and is unable to communicate with Chloe. During the battle with Michael at the Heavenly Tower, she truly unites with Chloe.
