Ayano Toki

Appears only by name in Chapter 13 of the original work. Makes a personal appearance starting from Chapter 28. She lives in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture and is a childhood friend of Nadeshiko. Nadeshiko calls her "Aya-chan." She has a lackadaisical mood. Even after Nadeshiko moved to Yamanashi Prefecture, they have continued to stay in touch, and she knows Nadeshiko's friends through photos. She owns a Honda Ape-style second-class moped (100cc) and spends some time with Nadeshiko, who returns home during the New Year holiday, and Rin, who visits Shizuoka Prefecture on a solo trip, where she experiences the charm of winter camping. She parts ways with a promise to visit Yamanashi Prefecture on her moped, following Rin's example.

Later, she promises to go with Rin and Nadeshiko to a campground by the Oigawa River, and in Chapter 56 of the main story, she joins Rin on a moped touring and camping trip. However, she is not used to long trips on a moped like Rin and has a body that tires easily, collapsing as soon as she gets off the moped. After reuniting with Nadeshiko at the Oigawa campground, she collapses again and leaves the setup of the single-wall tent entirely to Nadeshiko. During the same camping trip, she brings "Yummy 100% Hamburgers," which become an ingredient in Nadeshiko's Hatena Dam Beef Stew Omurice Hamburger Rice. When Rin tasted it, she described her mind as being filled with meat.

In the movie, she works at a bike shop that Rin also frequents.
