Charles Grey

A secretary officer and butler who serves as the Queen's Guard. Known as "Double Charles" in combination with Phipps. He refers to himself as "Boku" and is an alumnus of the Sapphire Lion Dormitory at Weston College. He is dressed in a white tailcoat and has white hair.

Although he holds the title of Earl Grey, he has only recently become the head of the family. It is said that he comes from a distinguished family "famous enough to have their name on a tea," and his grandfather served as Prime Minister, suggesting he is the head of the noble Earl Grey family. However, he is a fictional character, and the historical "Earl Grey, the Prime Minister's grandson," is Albert Grey, the 4th Earl Grey.

He excels in swordsmanship, capable of easily defeating Baldroy and Mey-Rin. He shows a disdainful attitude towards everyone, is a glutton, and is afraid of ghosts and snakes. He secretly despises Ciel, calling him a "brat."

Under Queen Victoria's orders, he attempts to murder Siemens at a formal dinner held at the Phantomhive household and frame Ciel for the murder, including killing Sebastian who was investigating the incident. However, his plan fails due to Ciel and his allies' strategy. Later, he kills Woodley, who was falsely accused of being the real culprit, while transporting him.

In the anime, he appears in the third season, witnessing the end of Baron Kelvin, the children he had imprisoned, and the main members of the Noah's Ark Circus.
