Chika Hatori

Chise's mother. She committed suicide before the start of the story and is deceased in the narrative. It is said that Chise inherited her physical constitution from her mother, Chika. In Chise's memories, she existed only as painful recollections. However, when Chise traced back her past memories during a deal with Cartaphilus, it became clear that her mother truly cherished her. The reason she tried to kill Chise was because she was misled by demonic influence, and the painful memories were shaped by Chise's own feelings of guilt, believing her mother's death was her fault.
