He dislikes being called an idiot by people he is not close to. In elementary school, he hated being mocked for his inability to calculate transportation fares, so he would run instead of using public transport, which is when he discovered his speed and started playing soccer. His dream is to become the world's most respected idiot by reaching the top in soccer.

During the preliminaries (at the start of the tag game), he had the highest rank in the building.

At the start of the second screening, he was teamed up with Futago, but by the time they broke through the second screening, he was on the same team as Seishirō, Chigiri, and Barō, suggesting that he advanced by being poached after they defeated him.
