Delgal Melini

A resident of the Golden City. Male. He was once the king who ruled over the Golden City. He is the grandfather of Yaad and was raised almost like a brother to Sissel. At the beginning of the story, he crawled out of the dungeon using his son's body to deceive Sissel's eyes, left words to the people who discovered him, and then vanished into dust. Sissel did not realize this for nearly six years until he was informed by Misurn. Since his son Eodio's body has disappeared as mentioned, in Sissel's hideout, Eodio is substituted with a life-sized doll among the soulless bodies of Delgal and others. Laios meets Delgal in the "moving painting." In his childhood, his appearance resembled Yaad.
