A warrior candidate girl. She is quite confident and has an unconventional personality. She harbors hatred towards the people of Paradis Island, calling them "descendants of devils," and hopes to inherit the "Armored Titan." She is Reiner's cousin and has a close family relationship with him, and she herself admires and looks up to him. Falco has feelings for her, but she is extremely oblivious and doesn't notice at all, often finding Falco's constant challenges annoying.

Due to her achievements in the battle to capture Fort Slava, it was almost certain she would inherit the "Armored Titan," but after Eren and his group attacked the Liberio district, killing her comrades and townspeople, she became enraged and vowed revenge. She shot Lobov and used his vertical maneuvering equipment to sneak onto the airship Eren and his group were using to return, killing Sasha but was captured and taken to Paradis Island.

She was imprisoned with Falco but escaped by feigning illness and knocking out a guard who approached. She met Kaya and interacted with Sasha's family at the Braus stables. Encouraged by Kaya, she contacted Nicolo and gleefully reported shooting Sasha, which angered him and resulted in Falco, who tried to protect her, getting injured. Even after learning the truth about killing Sasha, Sasha's parents did not hate her, and being called a "murderer" by Kaya shook her belief that "the Eldians of Paradis Island are devils." With the help of Pieck, who infiltrated Paradis Island, she reunited with the Marleyan army and, feeling guilty for involving Falco, went with Colt to search for him. Upon reuniting with Falco, she showed significant change in her actions by trusting the Eldian Nile, who tried to help Falco escape, and stopping Colt. Furthermore, after experiencing the concern of Sasha's parents and Kaya's hatred towards her, she finally changed her beliefs, stating, "There were no devils," and regretted her past actions.

Just before Eren, who had undone his Titan transformation, made contact with Zeke, she shot his head off with an anti-personnel rifle, but Eren transformed into a giant Titan surpassing the Colossal Titan, deactivating the wall's hardening and initiating the "Rumbling." Afterward, she joined forces with the warrior unit and the 104th Cadet Corps. In the so-called "Battle of Heaven and Earth," she, with Levi's assistance, shot the eyes of the Titan (nicknamed Okapi) that captured Armin with an anti-Titan rifle, significantly contributing to stopping the Rumbling. She later reunited with her family but was transformed into a Titan due to the gas attack by the glowing centipede. In the anime, she attacked Pieck but was able to return to human form after Eren's death. In the final chapter of the original work, she is seen with Levi, Falco, and Onyankopon. In the anime, she and Falco are shown restoring the forest destroyed by the Rumbling.
