Sasha Blouse

A girl with black hair (dark brown in the anime version) styled in a ponytail. Age 16→20. Height 168 cm, weight 55 kg (at age 16). Born on July 26. Hails from Dauper Village in the southern district of Wall Rose. Graduated 9th in the 104th Training Corps. Alongside Hange, she serves as a comic relief character in this work.

She comes from a remote hunting tribe and has a strong attachment to food. She has a very laid-back and wild personality, but usually uses polite language with everyone and behaves in a way that hides her naive side and her hometown accent. She possesses a natural intuition and sharp senses honed from her hunting lifestyle, and is skilled in archery. However, she is described by her instructors as "unsuited for organized actions due to her unconventional personality."

She joined the military because "she could eat delicious food," but due to her upbringing, she harbored fear and inferiority towards the outside world. However, through her life in the Training Corps and encounters with Krista and Ymir, she began to show camaraderie and compassion towards others.

During the Battle of Trost District, which was her first battle in 850, she was plagued by fear of the Titans and the sorrow of losing comrades in the Trost District recapture operation. Despite crying that she wanted to return to her village, she joined the Survey Corps. Later, she became a member of the newly formed Levi Squad and began using weapons she excelled in, such as bows and firearms.

Initially, she was supposed to die protecting a girl (Kaya) left behind in the village when Titans appeared inside Wall Rose, but Isayama decided to let her survive, thinking, "It seems cool at first glance, but this isn't the place for her to die. There's a more fitting place." When fighting Titans in her hometown, she took them down with a bow and arrow, and she also fought with a bow and arrow in the live-action movie version.

In the final operation to reclaim Wall Maria, she challenged the Armored Titan with her surviving comrades but was injured in a desperate operation and was recuperating in a hospital room after returning. During the Marleyan expedition in 854, she played an active role in halting the Marleyan military reinforcements and neutralizing one of the turrets of the Cart Titan, but was shot and killed by Gabi, who boarded the airship using the Survey Corps' vertical maneuvering equipment. Around this time, there is a depiction of her being liked by Nicolo, a former Marleyan soldier and skilled cook.
