Letoile belongs to the Golden Dawn, widely considered the strongest Magic Knights squad in the Clover Kingdom.

Within the squad, she serves as an offensive and support mage who manipulates the flow and direction of magic through Compass Magic.

She is part of the same organization as Yuno Grinberryall and is a direct comrade of Klaus Lunettes.

Her combat style is highly technical, focused on magical disruption and precision targeting rather than raw firepower.

During the Elf Reincarnation incident triggered by the magic stones, Letoile becomes a host body for the elf Given.

Given takes over her body through reincarnation magic, and Letoile’s consciousness is effectively suppressed during this time.

Given’s enormous elven mana allows her Compass Magic to bloom into its most terrifying form.

In this state, the technique Another Atlas manifests at a scale and precision far beyond what Letoile herself can handle, reshaping the battlefield into a one-sided domain.

Details of her actions and personality while fully possessed are attributed to Given rather than Letoile.

After the defeat of the word-soul magic devil (Zagred), the reincarnation effect is undone and Letoile regains control of her body.

Letoile is portrayed as calm and unresponsive in social situations, especially to romantic advances.

After the devil using word-soul magic is defeated, she visits Langris Vaude, who is hospitalized, and is approached by Finral Roulacase.

Finral openly flirts with her during this visit, but Letoile does not react at all, giving him no emotional feedback.

This lack of response highlights her composed, almost aloof demeanor, especially compared to Finral’s flamboyant personality.

Despite her reserved attitude, she fights cooperatively with Klaus Lunettes and trusts him enough to coordinate high-risk strategies in battle.

Her willingness to push herself alongside comrades shows a strong sense of duty as a magic knight.

Fight Against the Devil-Possessed Mist Mage

During the Spade Kingdom conflict, Zenon Zogratis, one of the Dark Triad, invades the Golden Dawn base.

He brings with him a devil-possessed mage who uses Mist Magic, turning the battlefield into a confusing, obscured arena.

Letoile engages this mist user in combat together with Klaus Lunettes and Yuno Grinberryall nearby.

Drawing on the residual mana left within her by the elf Given, she manages to partially recreate the domain-type spell Another Atlas.

Even though this recreated Another Atlas is far weaker and covers a much smaller area than when Given used it, it still grants her a crucial advantage.

Within this restricted domain, she and Klaus manage, with difficulty, to secure a narrow victory over the devil-possessed mist mage.

However, the victory is short-lived.

Immediately afterward, Zenon Zogratis himself appears and unleashes his Bone Magic.

Zenon’s attack is overwhelming, and Letoile, Yuno, and Klaus are all struck with wounds severe enough to be considered fatal.

They only survive due to the intervention of William Vangeance, who uses his World Tree Magic to heal their life-threatening injuries and pull them back from the brink of death.

This battle emphasizes both Letoile’s potential—drawing on elven mana to reproduce high-level magic—and the terrifying power gap between ordinary magic knights and a Dark Triad member.

Letoile’s magic attribute is Compass Magic, a highly specialized style that manipulates direction, targeting, and the very flow of mana and space.

Her combat identity revolves around redirecting enemy spells and guaranteeing precise hits with her own.

Compass Magic: Willful Compass

Name: Heartless Reverse Needle (Willful Compass)

This spell redirects incoming offensive magic to a different direction, preventing the caster from taking a direct hit.

She uses the “needle” of her magical compass to alter the trajectory of spells that are aimed at her.

Instead of blocking attacks head-on, she reroutes them, making even powerful enemy magic useless or self-defeating.

Compass Magic: Useless North

Name: Unyielding Guideline (Useless North)

This spell allows Letoile’s compass needle to lock onto the true target without being fooled by decoys, illusions, or clones.

No matter how much the enemy tries to mislead her with diversions, her targeting remains correct.

As a result, her attacks maintain their accuracy even in chaotic or deceptive situations.

Compass Magic: Another Atlas

Name: Maddening Compass World (Another Atlas)

This is her most advanced technique, especially terrifying when fueled by elven mana.

Another Atlas forcibly disturbs and scrambles the mana and space within a closed area, creating a distorted domain.

Inside this domain, enemy spells either fail to hit Letoile, are redirected, or are prevented from forming properly.

At the same time, Letoile’s own spells are guaranteed to hit the target within this space.

The wider the domain, the more violently the mana and space are distorted, making enemy spellcasting extremely unreliable.

The “disturbance field” is somewhat suppressed in the small area immediately around the opponent to avoid complete lockdown of all magic.

However, controlling mana with fine precision under this interference is nearly impossible, even for Magic Knight Captain–class mages.

When the elf Given was reincarnated into Letoile’s body, the sheer volume of elven mana allowed Another Atlas to reach its full capability.

Under Given’s control, this domain expanded over a huge area and demonstrated the spell’s maximum potential, showing what Letoile’s magic could theoretically become if she ever gains similar power and mastery.

After the Elf Reincarnation arc, Letoile can only reproduce a reduced, unstable version of Another Atlas using the residual elven mana.

Even so, this weakened form is powerful enough to turn the tide against high-level opponents like the devil-possessed mist mage when combined with teamwork.

Letoile is not a brute-force mage; she is a control and disruption specialist.

Her Compass Magic excels at warping the battlefield’s “rules,” forcing opponents to fight on her terms.

She is particularly dangerous to enemies who rely heavily on straightforward projectile spells or large-scale magic barrages.

By altering direction and scrambling mana, she nullifies these offensive strategies and punishes predictable casting.

Her greatest limitations are mana capacity and the difficulty of fully controlling Another Atlas without the immense reserve of power that Given possessed.

As seen in the Spade Kingdom battle, extended use of her domain-type magic is taxing and still not completely precise.

Nonetheless, Letoile’s growth after the Elf Reincarnation incident shows she is learning from Given’s legacy.

Her partial command of Another Atlas suggests strong future potential as one of the more unique tactical mages in the Golden Dawn.
